Start mining in five steps
Get a Zephyr address
Create a wallet with an official Zephyr wallet and copy your public address. It starts with ZEPH and is about 100 characters long. Keep your seed phrase offline and never share it.
Download a RandomX miner
Zephyr uses RandomX, which runs on CPUs. XMRig and SRBMiner-MULTI both work. Leave about 3 GB of RAM free for each miner.
Start the miner
Replace YOUR_ZEPHYR_ADDRESS with your address and run:
Name your machines
Add a dot and a name after your address, like YOUR_ZEPHYR_ADDRESS.laptop, to tell your machines apart. Names can use letters, numbers, -, _ and ., up to 31 characters. You can also put the name in the password field instead of x.
Check your stats
Open the dashboard, enter your address, and your workers appear within a few minutes.
Good to know
Blocks come every two minutes and the whole network is shared among all miners. The dashboard shows the pool’s expected time to the next block, but finding one is a matter of luck, so a block can come sooner or much later than that.
Rewards from a found block stay locked for 60 blocks (about two hours) before they can be spent.
